Xero Shoes 5,000 Mile Sole Limited Warranty and 24 Month Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty

How Long Will My Xero Shoes Last?

When you ask us how long Xero Shoes last, we answer: “We don’t know, but it’s going to be a long, long time!” (Steven has personally logged over 5,000 miles in his!)

That’s why we back our FeelTrue® outsoles (or FeelTrue® section of Z-Trail) with a 5,000-mile sole warranty.

Here’s How Our Warranties Work:

    1. 5,000 Mile Sole Warranty: If your soles wear down to less than 1mm thick at the ball or heel (not the edge), we’ll replace them for 60% off the MSRP (full retail price).
    2. 24-Month Manufacturer’s Warranty: Your shoes are covered under warranty if you experience any manufacturer defects within 24 months of purchase.

*Note: Damage from misuse, such as excessive heat or intense sunlight exposure, is not covered under these warranties. The 5,000 Mile Warranty only applies to Xero Shoes FeelTrue® outsoles, not Vibram Cherry products.

We don’t expect you to ever need these warranties, but if you do, here’s what to do:

  • Email us at [email protected] with the following: 
    • Subject Line: Warranty Request
    • Order number (or name and email if missing)
    • Photos of the worn soles and/or the issue
    • Photo of the tongue tag (for closed-toe shoes). 
    • Proof of purchase if bought outside of xeroshoes.com 
    • Your current shipping address
    • Description of the issue
  • Customer Service Review:
    • We’ll confirm if the request qualifies for the warranty
    • If needed, we may ask you to return your shoes with a Return Authorization Number (RAN).
  • Replacement or Refund
    • If a return isn’t needed, we’ll send you your replacement right away.  
    • If a return is required, we’ll send it once we have your shoes.

Warranty Details:

  • Original Purchaser: The 5,000-mile warranty is non-transferable and only valid for the original purchaser.
  • For purchases made outside of xeroshoes.com: Contact your retailer first. If their return period has passed, reach out to us with your proof of purchase and we’ll be happy to assist.
  • Amazon: Purchases from Amazon are covered if sold by Xero Shoes or Xero Shoes EU—include your Amazon order ID.
  • Washer and Dryer: Shoes washed or dried in a machine are not covered.
  • Fun Fact: While our 5,000-mile warranty doesn’t cover attacks by Tasmanian Devils, we might make an exception if you save all the pieces. Yes, it really happened!

Legal Stuff:

THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE, ARE MADE BY FEEL THE WORLD OR ARE AUTHORIZED TO BE MADE WITH RESPECT TO OUR SHOES. FEEL THE WORLD’s ONLY OBLIGATION IN THE EVENT OF A DEFECTIVE SHOE SHALL BE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE SHOE. IN NO EVENT SHALL FEEL THE WORLD BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES OR DAMAGES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.
